Welcome back….

This is my site to document my epic pokémon cross stitch project, all generations, 798,000 stitches.

Merry Christmas everyone, I’ve had a rough few months and although not completely better I’m getting there, it’ll be a quiet Christmas for me as my boys are with their dads so what better than to pick this up again. Thank you for your support and patience x

After posting on Reddit the picture of the whole fabric with the one page done I was overwhelmed with over 150 comments and 1.9k upvotes! Most commenting on how crazy I am to do this piece to which I replied ‘yes, yes I am!’
It’s nice to get encouragement and slightly in awe comments on what I’m trying to achieve, hence why I’m posting this at 2am after just putting EP ( epic pokémon) to bed for the night.
Page 2 is going well, I’m about 1/5th done already ( helps that youngest son has been away for a couple of days with his dad and I’m still on school holidays 😊)
Just goes to show how a few positive comments can help someone feel really good.
Off to bed now to get some much needed beauty sleep……
P.S Page 2 has …. Pikachu!!! 😍

So here it is at last! Page one completed. Took longer than I thought but I’m really happy with the quality of the stitches and how good it looks.
I decided to unfold the fabric and give it a press as the corner was getting rather crumpled as you can see, suddenly it dawned on me how huge this will be but I’m more determined than ever to get it done.
I’ve gridded for the next page to the right of the completed one and I cannot wait as I think this has the one and only Pikachu!!!
Thank you for sticking with me so far, here’s to the next 4,000 stitches!

First page nearly completed! Only 249 to go…
I have finished this commisioned piece for a friends granddaughter which I know she will love 😍 6 weeks of summer holidays begins for me on Tuesday so expect lots of progress reports on the pokémon soon 🙂
Apologies for the lack of updates it’s been a crazy month, exam season at school has meant I’ve been working full time and we also went on a holiday if a lifetime to the ancestral home of Lego… Denmark!
It was nearly as epic as this project and many lasting memories were made 😊
So I have made progress, currently working on pokémon #3 Zubat and it’s coming along nicely.
Hope to post ( and stitch) more regularly now so please stick with me x

After a ridiculously busy week at work ( GCSE’s have begun) I have made progress already, 1st character Rattata is slowly emerging….

So I started stitching on Saturday 11th May 2019.
My epic journey begins….
